Alberto Colombo is a Partner of Amrop D&G in Italy. Alberto joined Amrop D&G in 2008 and he is Global Energy & Utilities Practice Leader. Alberto worked in IBM for 25 years in HR, Commercial and Technical Areas. After two international assignments in Paris and USA, he was appointed Director of HR Plans and Programs. In 1994 he joined Alitalia as HR Director of Customer Service. In 1996 he became HR Director of Edison; he set up the Commercial and Trading functions and the Edisontel start-up. He was Member of Edison Termoelettrica Board. In 2002 he started Executive Search career as Partner of Boyden and Athena. Alberto’s main experience is in the Energy & Utilities. However, he has developed competences in assignments ranging from ICT, Consumer Goods, Manufacturing, Services and General Management. Alberto holds a degree in Economics from L. Bocconi University, where he was Teacher in industrial techniques. He is fluent in English and French.
