HB has been in the executive search business since 1996 and had become a Representative Director & Managing Partner in 2001.

Before joining Amrop Korea, he was the Managing Director of Norman Broadbent International in Korea over five years. He has an extensive experience in senior level executive search consulting in a wide range of sectors such as financial services, automotive & industrial, healthcare/pharmaceutical, chemical, consumer and high technology sectors. He is a member of automotive & industrial practice group and also a member of financial service practice group of the Amrop.

His earlier professional career covers over 15 years in financial service industry including foreign exchange & money market trading, treasury marketing, treasury management and asset management at various banks and financial institution such as Citibank, Standard Chartered Bank, Security Pacific National Bank and Pacific Life Insurance. He had also worked for Trigem System Integration and Unisys Korea  as a Systems Integration consultant serving clients in numerous financial services companies.
HB holds a bachelor's degree in International Trading/Economics from Sogang University, Seoul, Korea.
