Rob’s early roles were as an auditor, then Financial Controller and Company Secretary of manufacturing companies, followed by seven years with PriceWaterhouse Management Consulting. At one point he was seconded as General Manager of a prominent Australian Federal Government business. Then as General Manager Customer Service for Australia’s largest department store chain, he was responsible for the enhancement of service delivery of 30,000 staff across Australia. Joining AXA Australia with a national customer service responsibility he was then transferred to AXA Hong Kong with responsibility for all corporate business. The Hong Kong Government later appointed him as an independent specialist advisor in their successful launch of compulsory retirement saving. Prior to joining Amrop Cordiner King in 2002 he was a Partner of PwC Consulting, advising clients throughout the Asia Pacific, Europe and the United States. Rob conducts searches for Chairs, Directors, Partners, CEOs and direct reports to CEOs. In 2006, Rob was elected to Amrop's Global Board of Directors. In 2007, he was appointed Amrop Vice Chairman, with responsibility for Amrop Asia Pacific (Australia, China & Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, New Zealand, the Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam). From 2007 to 2010 he was responsibile for Amrop’s 10 global practice groups. Rob sits on the Amrop Board's Executive Committee and Membership Committee.
