After completing a commercial apprenticeship, Stephan graduated with a degree in Business Administration from the University of Cologne, Germany. Stephan Franken started out as a trainee in Thyssen Group and was subsequently offered a position in the sales department. He moved into executive search in 1995. He worked first for ifp in Cologne, then spent almost six years with Kienbaum Executive Consultants GmbH, where he was appointed Partner in 2000. He joined Amrop Delta in 2004. Stephan has experience in a wide range of industries, including consumer goods, pharmaceuticals, retail, metal-working companies, mechanical and plant engineering, as well as banking and insurance. Stephan enjoys sport, nature and travelling.
