Svein Ruud has worked as an executive recruitment consultant since 1986 and since January 1, 2000 he is a partner and consultant in Amrop. He was one of the founding partners of Nordic Search 1987-1999. Before that he worked as Sales Manager in a large Swedish company within the transport and travel industry.  

Svein has during the years gained a broad experience from different businesses and branches. During the last decade he has worked extensively with clients in FMCG and retail, logistics, industrial, technology and construction.

Svein holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Master of Business Administration.   Svein was recently elected to Amrop's global Board, in his second term.  Previously, he served on the global board between 2004 and 2008 with responsibility for structural design as well as research globally within the Group.
