Tim is a Partner in Amrop’s Amsterdam office, a member of Amrop’s global Financial Services Practice Group and co-chairman of Amrop’s global Board Practice Group. Tim’s early career started with Delta Lloyd Insurance Group and NRG (ING Group), both in staff and line positions. He was appointed General Manager at the Netherlands Council for Trade Promotion in 1984 and Managing Director of The Netherlands-Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Madrid in 1987. Tim has been active in executive search since 1992, when he returned to The Netherlands, amongst others with Maes & Lunau/Ward Howell International and Signium International. Tim joined Amrop as Partner in January 2002. Tim studied Law at Leiden University, The Netherlands. A Dutch native speaker, he is fluent in Spanish, English, French and German. Tim focuses on senior and executive level positions in various industries and functional disciplines, with a special interest in the Financial Services industry and an emphasis on Consumer Products and family owned businesses.
