Preety Kumar is the founding Partner of Amrop India, and a member of Amrop's Global Board.

After more than two decades in the search consulting and with direct experience of serving clients across multiple industries, Preety is acknowledged for her wealth of experience & her outstanding client commitment. She has deep understanding of Leadership matters and detailed insights on talent issues of clients which she uses effectively to consult on External Succession, Board Advisory and Talent related areas. With long standing client relationships that span multiple industries and geographies, she has developed expertise in solving complex searches globally.

Preety’s fundamental expertise lies in Consumer, Retail & Telecom services, Human Resource Leadership practices, though she also has strong track record of serving the Life Sciences & Industrial clients. Her early life was as an HR Practitioner with the Eicher Group. Preety has held senior management positions with Amrop globally as a Global Board member as well as Asia Pacific Consumer Practice Leader. She has served in Global Task Forces on New Brand Development and Restructuring Global Governance Model. She is also a member of the Global Management Assessment practice.

Preety is an Honors graduate in Psychology and holds an MBA with specialization in human resources from University Business School, Chandigarh. Preety serves as an Independent Director on the Advisory Board of Sanmar Group, India. She has several industry recognitions – “CEO with HR Orientation” award by Asia Pacific HRM Congress and “Women Super Achiever” award by Stars of the Industry Group are a few of them.
