Dorien started her career at VolkerWessels, developing various leadership programs at home and abroad as Manager, Management Development. She then worked in Singapore for 4 years where she was responsible for marketing & sales at HeluTrans relocation services as a business development manager. At Imtech, she subsequently worked on an international culture change as Director of Communication and CSR. Before she joined Amrop in 2019, Dorien worked at TBI Holdings as Director of Communication and Organizational Development.
Dorien studied Human Resource Management and obtained a PhD at the Southern Cross University in Australia with the subject of the Learning Organization. She fulfilled various management and executive roles in the areas of HRM, talent development, business development, communication and CSR and she specializes in culture and change processes as well as in organizational and leadership development.
Dorien teaches as a guest lecturer at the University of Antwerp and is also active in a number of supervisory roles.
