Laura oversees Amrop’s annual event planning, with a focus on the World Conference, the EMEA Regional Meeting, Board Meetings and Campus Sessions worldwide.
Her experience in event planning in the corporate, cultural, sport and entertainment sectors dates back to 2003. She started out in an events agency working with local authorities in the city of Turin, Italy, organizing world congresses, city events in contact with the food industry, agribusiness and cinema sectors and supported broadcasters during the 2006 Winter Olympics.
Italian by birth with an international curriculum, Laura grew up in Singapore, Kuwait City, Antwerp and has also lived in London and Berlin. She is now based in Brussels since 2008, where she strengthened her organizational and event planning skills in the civil society and cultural sectors, running workshops, conferences and museum exhibitions.
Laura holds a Master degree in Mass Media & Communications (University of Turin, Italy) and another in Museum Management (University of Leicester, UK). She loves travelling, cooking and photography and enjoys reading about history, world cultures and cities. She is fluent in spoken and written Italian, English, French and is currently learning Spanish.
