Prior to joining Amrop, Lisa worked as a management consultant and trusted adviser to small and midsized organizations in the United States, specializing in business transformation. Her clients ranged from first-time entrepreneurs to seasoned C-level executives. Working as an executive coach and team facilitator, Lisa's effectiveness and compassion come from her own experience in business management.
Earlier in her career, Lisa worked for some of the most prominent companies in Silicon Valley including Netscape, Sun Microsystems and HP. She held senior business management and director positions in product development, marketing and sales.
Lisa’s experience is not limited to the West or technology. She began her professional life as a financial analyst with ABN AMRO in Hong Kong and then JM Sassoon covering companies in the Retail, Telco, and Energy sectors across Asia. Later when she moved from being a sell-side analyst to a fund manager, she added China to her coverage helping to manage one of the first and top ranked China funds with Investec Guinness Flight.
Outside of work, Lisa likes to stay actively involved with her community through volunteerism. She had served on nonprofit Boards and is currently serving as an officer for the Association of MIT Alumnae. She is a supporter of the arts, youth mentoring, and entrepreneurship.
Lisa has done extensive coursework in Organizational Development, Operations Research and Business Administration. She is a graduate of MIT, HKUST and HKU.
