Mika's history of executive and consulting roles as well as his enthusiasm for digitalization and strategy execution make him an excellent sparring partner for clients looking to renew their leadership capabilities to drive growth.
Mika has strong leadership experience from the IT services, Media, Publishing and Consulting industries, in international and national roles. He has held both line management and consulting positions as a professional of global account/relationship management and strategy execution. He joined Amrop in May 2017.
Having both led and facilitated several transformations, he has wide experience in strategy creation and execution, organization design and leading both line organizations and customer/partner relationships. As a digital native he is always keen to find new methods, tools and technology to both enable business disruption and to support leadership and management.
During his role as Managing Partner of a boutique strategy consultancy, Mika worked with a variety clients for five years. His focus was on IT services, Media, Insurance, Professional Services, Real Estate and Trade Associations. His assignments were typically contracted by the Managing Director or the Board of the client organization. He normally worked with the management team and also ran larger workshops to create common understanding and commitment to the selected strategy.
Mika has a MSc (Econ.) from Helsinki School of Economics, majoring in Systems sciences and IT, supported by accounting. In his free time he plays a variety of sports, sings in choirs and sails an old wooden boat.
