In 2015, Pablo was elected councillor of Madrid City Council with the P.Popular. Chairing the Economic municipal Committee, and Director of the transport sector board.
In 2012, he was appointed Madrid Regional Secretary for Transport, infrastructures and housing, and Executive Chairman of the Subway (Metro) and Regional buses companies.
Before entering the public sector and politics, he spent 19 years in Barclays Group, directly contributing from several senior roles to the growth strategy of Barclays in Europe, designing and executing the strategy from an organic and inorganic point of view, managing Business Development and the Sales network, holding various central services functions, several transformational and change-related projects, and the main P&L accounts.
He graduated in Business Administration and Economics from the Universidad Pontificia de Comillas – ICADE (Madrid) and ESSEC (Paris), and has participated in various courses of Executive Education at Harvard, AMP (Advanced Mgt. Prog.), INSEAD (YMP, Strategy in Banking), and other leadership programs (Chicago Univ., London Bus. Sc.).
Speaks fluent English, French and Portuguese.
