Sonia Perdomo

Sonia Perdomo is a Partner of Amrop Top Management in Colombia. She is responsible for the Banking and Financial Services practice in Colombia. 

Sonia is a qualified lawyer and a specialist in Economic and Business law from the Externado University of Colombia, with a post-grad Diploma in Marketing from Los Andes University. She has also received certificates in "Business with China" from the Sergio Arboleda University, and in the Advanced Management Program from Los Andes University.

Sonia has been a legal advisor for both public and private sector companies, such as Drummond, Aga Fano (Linde), Merck, Ferrovías and Claro (Comcel). Her career includes over 20 years of experience in Retail and FMCG, as well as in the Services sector.

Sonia was a Director of the FARO Foundation, a non-profit organization focused on education in hydroponics for families with limited resources. She has participated in the drafting committee of Regulatory Decree for Personal Communication System – PCS. She is an Adviser on Corporate Governance in Family Businesses, and has been a principal member of the Boards of: Avesco, Fiduciaria Superior, Leasing Superior and the Key for Colombia Foundation in Miami.

Sonia was a Member of the Audit and Risk committees of Fiduciaria Superior and Leasing Superior, and is currently a Member of the Family Business Network (FBN), and a legal representative of Asocel (Asomovil).
