Amrop Announces New Partner Hires in EMEA, Asia and Latam

Amrop announces the addition of eight Partners to its global partnership of executive search consultants.

Murat Ayberk has a long track record in the Telecommunications sector as a Manager in various leading roles. From his experience in fast-changing business environments he has gained deep insights into leadership at different life stages of a company. In 2013, he founded his own consulting company specializing in talent management and placement of interim management positions.

Gregor Handler joins Amrop from a ten-year career at McKinsey & Company, where his management consulting practice focused primarily in Engineering-related industries. He has built expertise in performance transformation, leadership development and culture change. In combination with his passion for people’s personal growth, Gregor started his own boutique as a consultant, facilitator and coach in 2014.

Damjan Kozjak joins Amrop from his previous role as Deputy General Manager at NLB Bank, managing distressed real estate and claims in South East Europe. Damjan started his career in sales at an international Oil and Gas company in Austria. He then moved into the Financial Services sector, spending ten years with Societé Générale Group, where he managed several Leasing, Retail and Corporate departments. Later, he worked on financial Corporate Restructuring programs at NKBM Bank, related to Asset Management and Portfolio Investments. At Amrop, Damjan works with Financial Services and Real Estate clients in Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Serbia, Montenegro and Macedonia.

Tamal Kumar leads the Process Manufacturing Practice in India, working with Metal, Mining, and other process manufacturing clients. Tamal brings over 12 years of experience across diverse industries of Commercial Shipping, Power and Cement. Prior to joining Amrop, Tamal was the Business Development Head at Reliance Cement, where he drove strategic initiatives for development and acquisition of large manufacturing units. He started his career as an Engineer with Chevron Transport Corporation.

Ricky Lam specializes in the Technology & Media, Industrial and Not-For-Profit sectors, leveraging his almost 20 years’ experience in China and throughout Asia Pacific. Before joining Amrop, he was Director of the International Zinc Association, promoting the usage of zinc metal to the Chinese government and to the construction, automotive and railway industries in China. Previously, Ricky was VP/GM for Votorantim/US Zinc in the Asia Pacific region. Ricky began his career as a professional accountant with PwC before working as a Financial Analyst in DowElanco and Nortel. Later he took up various business development, sales and marketing roles in Dow and Lubrizol.

Diana Rake leads search assignments for senior executives and board members for local and international companies. She has experience working with clients in Industrial, Financial Services, Infrastructure, as well as Mining and Energy sectors. She has worked at Banco de Crédito of New York, and has held Human Resources executive positions for Shell and Antamina. Diana was previously Managing Partner of Downing Teal Peru, a boutique executive search firm with international operations, leading senior level engagements.

Olivier Reynaud has more than eighteen years of experience in the international executive search business mainly in the Professional Services, Automotive and Technology sectors. Having lived in France, Germany and Austria, Olivier has conducted C-level searches across Europe. In his previous role as Country Manager of another executive search firm, Olivier managed international teams and P&Ls, focusing on developing and implementing value-added solutions for his clients to grow their businesses. Earlier in his career, Olivier was a financial auditor – with today's KPMG - focusing on Automotive and Industrial clients.

Jenny Wang has successfully recruited over 100 senior level candidates for clients in the Healthcare, Consumer Goods, Chemical and Industrial sectors across Asia. The majority of her clients are multinational organizations that have key operations in China, and Jenny is leveraging this experience to help fast-growth local companies globalize successfully with the right talent mix. Jenny has held executive search positions with Amrop and another U.S.-based global retained search firm.  Additionally, she has worked for global market leaders such as Emerson Electric and Mobil Oil in their respective marketing organizations.
