Fred Chang-Hyun Jo has joined the Amrop team as a Partner in Seoul.
Fred has worked in the executive search industry since 1997. During that time, he has worked for two top global retained executive search organizations, and has run his own firm providing search consulting and career coaching services for executives and professionals.
For the last 20 years, Fred has built his experience across a wide range of industries, with particular emphasis in the Technology & Media, Industrial, Consumer & Retail, Financial Services and Professional Services sectors. He has been particular successful in working ith clients under challenging circumstances, including restructuring, turnarounds and start-ups. He also served as Head of Quality Assurance at Heidrick & Struggles' Seoul Office.
Before his executive search career, Fred worked in HR functions (OD and HRD) for local South Korean conglomerates including Tongyang and Sunkyung (currently SK). In 2016, he was appointed as an adjunct professor for Kyung Hee University in Seoul, focused on organization, culture and careers in multinational companies.
