Kenneth Xu is a Partner of Amrop China based in Shanghai, and a key member of Amrop’s Global Digital Practice, working with local and MNC companies to build successful leadership teams.
As one of the earliest retained executive search professionals in China, Kenneth has over 20 years’ consulting and management experience with several global and regional consulting firms. He has deep knowledge in assessing and recruiting the most important executives for US, European and Chinese companies in the fields of Technology, Life Sciences and beyond since 1999.
Prior to joining AMROP, Kenneth spent close to 2 years building and leading commercial operations at two B2B Internet and Technology start-ups in China. In addition, Kenneth also acts as an active talent advisor for the Block Chain Committee of the esteemed National Eastern Tech-Transfer Center, providing advice to investors, entrepreneurs and top professionals in China as well as the Silicon Valley.
Kenneth is founding partner of Nexus Partners, a boutique leadership consulting firm whose business became part of Amrop China.
Kenneth began his career as an English lecturer at a local university. From 1996 to 1999, Kenneth was on the pioneering team to build up CEIBS which has now grown into a top-ranked business school.
A Chinese national, Kenneth graduated with a BA from Shanghai International Studies University in British and American Literature, and an EMBA from CEIBS.
