Matthias is a Partner at AmropCivitas in Munich, and Co-Leader of Amrop's global Industrial Practice. He is an experienced consultant with especially strong ties to the Automotive industry.

Working on international assignments for more than 15 years, Matthias has become a truly global consultant for both his clients and as a facilitator at group level, and is a key partner for the development of global key accounts.

Matthias first joined Amrop in 2006. Before joining Amrop, Matthias has worked for two well-known German search boutiques. Matthias has more than 15 years of experience as an Executive Search Consultants.

Within Amrop, Matthias focuses on the Industrial and Automotive business. He is a core member of Amrop's global Industrial Practice and previously served as Leader of the global Industrial Practice for the last years.

Matthias holds a Master's degree in History from Hamburg University and he has studied at Venice University in Italy. He also completed Amrop's Trusted Advisor Program at IMD in Lausanne.

Matthias specializes in the Industrial segment with a focus on the Automotive industry where he has completed various assignments for leading international Automotive clients (OEM and Tier-1 supplier). He is the global Key Account Manager for several large automotive accounts. In addition, he has in-depth knowledge in the Chemical and Packaging industry and he specializes in new Mobility Concepts & Digitization. He has served a large number of clients in other industries as well and is strongly involved in cross-border business development within the Amrop Partnership. His consulting focus also includes management audits and appraisals.

Matthias serves international clients in particular, and he is fluent in English and Italian.In his spare time Matthias enjoys spending time with family and friends and likes Italian literature.
