Dayanat Ahmadov is Managing Partner at Amrop's Azerbaijan office. He has 15+ years of experience and is one of the most recognized and trusted recruiters in Azerbaijan.

Before joining Amrop, he spent 3 years in the non-profit and academic sectors, then returned to the recruiting industry by working for 4 years at Boyden, one of the leading executive search organizations.

Dayanat values trustworthiness in his professional and personal relationships, contributes to the process of value creation, and is a firm believer in the 3P philosophy, which stands for People, Planet and Profit. His decision-making, communication and approach to the work are always governed by the highest ethical principles.

He specializes in mid to senior level local and international search projects as an executive search consultant. He maintains close relationships with regional executives working overseas, particularly those from Azerbaijan, the Caucasus and Central Asia(CCA) countries. He has a wide network in CCA countries and a track record of success in evaluating the cultural fit of international executives moving to Azerbaijan. In his more than 15 years of experience, he has completed 100+ middle to top management assignments and managed a local recruitment company that successfully closed 500+ job openings in industries like FMCG, retail, pharma, energy, industrial, financial services, telco and many other sectors.

He holds a bachelor's and master's degree from Azerbaijan State Economic University. In collaboration with the Association of Executive Search and Leadership Consultants, he earned an advanced executive search certificate from Cornell University. He was also chosen to participate in a 4-week Manager Training Program in Germany, which was supported by the German Federal Ministry of Economic Affairs and Energy.

Besides his career, he is an originator and supporter of capacity building and awareness-raising initiatives. As the founder of the HR&VET working group at the German-Azerbaijani Chamber of Commerce and its chairman for the last 2 years, he has organized numerous meetings and contributed to the development of various non-academic papers within the working group. Since 2017, he has been an active organizer and supporter of various forums and summits, including the 1st and 2nd HR Summits, the 1st Management & Innovation Forum, HR Agenda and many others.

He is a believer of the concept that new cultures facilitate “get to know one another” rather than triggering a clash of civilizations becasuse of their diversity. He enjoys learning about and experiencing new cultures through their music, architecture, art, food, national dress and etc. He is married and father of four children – two boys and two girls.
