Filip Strömbäck is Partner at Amrop’s Malmö office. He brings a broad commercial profile spanning banking, executive search, talent tech and engineering combining entrepreneurship and advisory with a genuine passion for people and organisations.

Filip began his career in corporate banking at Nordea before moving into serving financial service clients within executive search in 2007 at Korn Ferry. He spent 10 years in executive search, both at local Nordic boutique firms and global giants. He delivered board- and C-suite-level assignments across the Nordic region. In 2018 he co-founded Exparang, a digital matching platform for executive search and proactive career management, which he led until 2024. Before joining Amrop he was Chief of Staff at deep tech company GREEN14.

Today Filip mainly focuses on serving active owners, such as private equity, family offices, investment co’s and venture capital with executive search, board services and C-suite search & succession.

Filip is also a career columnist/panelist, writing for Sweden's largest daily paper Dagens Nyheter.

Filip is a father of four (and a working cocker). He spends his spare time running, reading or as co-host of Stiljournalen, Sweden's largest men's style podcast.

Filip shares his time between Malmö and Stockholm.
