Filipe is an Independent Partner of Amrop Portugal, and a core member of Amrop’s Board Services Practice.

Filipe holds a doctorate in board governance and strategic leadership. He is a professor of governance and reputation at Henley Business School (UK), where he also is the Programme Director for the MSc in Management for Future Leaders. He teaches board governance, strategic leadership and corporate responsibility and ethics in Henley, INSEAD and other business schools.

Filipe is an expert on board governance and has published books, academic and practitioner articles, reports and case studies on the subject. He works with clients on Board Design, Board Advisory and Board Review, both with privately held companies as well as public sector organizations.

Prior to joining Amrop he has worked as a Human Resources professional in the Automotive, Semiconductors and Healthcare industries.
