Kenneth V. Mortensen is a Partner in Amrop Denmark and has 25 years of experience in executive search.
Kenneth is recognized as a result-oriented trusted advisor in helping market-leading Danish and international companies with strategically important and exceptional critical hires as well as complex international searches. During his 25 years within executive search, Kenneth has developed a well-deserved reputation as being very client and candidate driven, with a passion for delivery and results. He has played a significant role in several top management assessments internationally, and his success is grounded in his belief in the correlation between human behavior and financial performance.
Kenneth is recognized as a trusted advisor in helping companies in exceptional critical hires into high impact roles.
Kenneth's experience has included various assignments on the management, executive, and board level for both leading multinationals and local companies. Kenneth has experience working with various stakeholders, cultures and clients by undertaking multi-country searches across different locations both in the Nordics, Europe, Asia as well as North and South America. Adding to this, Kenneth has led more than 100 search assignments for PE owned/backed companies.
Kenneth's client roster spans a broad range of industries and functions including Digital, Financial Services, Industrial, Property/Real Estate and Facilities Management. Furthermore, Kenneth has obtained a Board Certificate from Board Assure and teaches at the Board Certificate within the field of Board Search and Assessment.
Kenneth holds an Executive MBA from 2021 which is made up by 20 management and leadership courses all taught by experts and professors from the world' leading business schools.
He is co-author of the books "Inspiration fra toppen – CFO'ens historie" published by PwC in 2012 and "Til og Fra Lederjobbet" published at Børsens Forlag in 2006 as well as a series of articles published on LinkedIn under the heading "Food for Thought".
