Lech is the Head of Data Protection at dk Executive Search and a recognized GDPR and data privacy professional, with over 15 years of experience across industries including IT, HR, telecom, retail, e-commerce, professional services, and copyright. Since 2010, he has been serving as Data Protection Officer, and reporting directly to the Board.

His key responsibilities include managing all aspects of personal data processing, regulatory compliance, information security, and legal risk. He also oversees outsourced IT services, databases, vendor relations, and the Group’s technology infrastructure – bringing a rare combination of legal expertise and technical insight to the role.

Before transitioning into data privacy advisory, Lech served as IT Manager, then IT Director and Technology Advisor within the dk Group. He also held the role of Chief Information Security Officer. Among his notable achievements are leading the Group’s IT transformation from Apple to Microsoft infrastructure, implementing key recruitment software platforms, and developing a proprietary ERP system for recruitment, built entirely in-house.

Lech excels in navigating complex challenges and advising senior stakeholders. He is also credited with coining the Polish term for “joint controllers” during the legislative process of the GDPR.

Lech holds a degree in Communication and Media Management from the University of Communication and Social Media,and an Engineering degree in Architecture from the Stanisław Noakowski School of Architecture and Construction, Warsaw.
