Sara Jane (SJ) Knox is the Managing Director at the Amrop Partnership, where she is responsible for leading global operations and strategic execution, leveraging the strength of the member firms to drive innovation, enhance network performance and build long-term growth and resilience.

Prior to this role, SJ spent 20 years in the global accounting and advisory industry with Grant Thornton and Baker Tilly, where she led major global strategy transformations, partner performance and risk initiatives, and inorganic growth programmes across countries and regions, resulting in sharper strategic focus, improved execution discipline, and enhanced value creation for member firms.

SJ is known for her collaborative leadership style, strong commercial acumen, and ability to translate complex strategy into practical action across diverse, partnership‑based organisations.

SJ holds an MBA from London Business School, an undergraduate degree in Law from Trinity College Dublin, and is a Chartered Accountant (Chartered Accountants Ireland) and a qualified executive coach (EMCC).
