Tarunesh is a Senior Partner in Amrop’ s India office anchoring Executive Search, Organization Advisory and Talent Analytics practices. He brings 20+ years of professional experience with last decade in Talent & Leadership consulting where he has been advising a broad spectrum of clients across borders, in markets around the world. He has deep expertise in engaging with dynamic businesses and helping them build Leadership capacity for future readiness, also advising on governance, organisation & role design. He also anchors Amrop’s strategic engagements with Startups as well as Private Equity firms.

His range of work in Amrop is quite diverse and also includes global executive search projects transforming strategic C-suite roles, talent projects and Executive Compensation advisory work. Has also led the CHRO Centre of Excellence. Width of industries served includes Consumer, Digital and Consumer Tech, Fin-Tech, Telecom, Media, Retail, Infrastructure, Clean Tech, Airports, Real Estate, Financial services and Diversified Conglomerates.

Particularly passionate about first principles problem solving and bringing analytics and data sciences into talent and strategic leadership advisory. He has served on Amrop’s Global Technology committee - responsible for bringing a range of digital tools and platforms powering forward looking research techniques.

Tarunesh is also an Independent Director on the board of a subsidiary company of a Leading Conglomerate in India.

Tarunesh started his career as a marine engineer with an NYSE listed Shipping Company, OMI Corp., headquartered at Connecticut, where he led engineering operations on ocean going vessels. He had ownership of all machinery systems and supervision of engineering teams.

He holds a Bachelors degree in Marine Engineering from Marine Engineering & Research Institute, (MERI) Kolkata and an MBA from SIMSR.
