Amrop announces key appointments to its global leadership team

The Amrop Partnership has elected a comprehensive slate of new appointments to its global leadership team. The appointments include the Amrop Global Chair, and 4 Global Board members.

Effective immediately, Annika Farin takes on the position of Global Chair to lead the strategic development of Amrop’s activities in 47 countries. Oana Ciornei, Marie Högstedt, Adam Saunders and Jarle Trandokken have been elected to join the Global Board along with the new Chair.

Annika Farin has been appointed Global Chair of the Amrop Partnership

A Founding Partner of Amrop in Germany, Annika has served as an Amrop Global Board Member for the past two years and is a core member of Amrop's global Leadership Services, Consumer and Financial Services Practices. Annika has a strong management consulting background, including with McKinsey, senior HR executive experience with multinational corporates, and a 13-year senior track record in executive search and development. She earned her Master’s Degree in Business Administration at the European School of Management (now ESCP), with Postgraduate studies in Psychology at the London School of Economics.

4 new Members have been elected to the Global Board:

Oana Ciornei (Romania): Managing Partner of Amrop Romania, Oana has a 14-year track record in executive search and has senior FMCG management experience. Oana has particular expertise in Consumer, Digital and Industrials. She is a trusted advisor in leadership and senior management appointments, board composition, strategic restructuring and talent acquisition programs. She emphasizes multi-cultural leadership, objectives-led business strategy, and international project management. A certified SHL assessor and MBTI practitioner, Oana holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from the West University of Timisoara, Romania.

Marie Högstedt (Sweden): Managing Partner of Amrop Sweden, (Malmö), Marie has corporate-level executive experience in the Industrials, Retail and FMCG sectors and has consulted in international management development for several listed companies. She holds a BA in Psychology, Economics and Law from Lund University, Sweden. Marie completed a leadership development program at IMD business school, Switzerland.

Adam Saunders (United Kingdom): A Founding Partner of Amrop in the United Kingdom, Adam has a 20-year track record in Financial Services executive search, both in the sell and buy side and across all product lines. He specializes in strategic hires at C-Suite level, building leadership teams, designing post-acquisition hiring programs and board reconfiguration. Adam holds a BA Hons degree from Falmouth College of Arts.

Jarle Trandokken (Norway): A Partner at Amrop Delphi, Jarle has a profound understanding of the profiles and qualifications needed in top-level positions, in smaller as well as larger companies. He specializes in senior recruitment for the Production, Supply-chain, Wholesale and Retail sectors and has strong experience as a Non Executive Director in Norway. Jarle holds a Master of Business Administration from the Norwegian School of Management and Master of Business and Marketing from Oslo Business School.

The new appointees join existing Board Members Federico Cúneo (Peru), Andrew Woodburn (South Africa) and Eelco van Eijck (The Netherlands). This brings Amrop’s Global Board composition to 8 Members.
